This song is kinda accidentally about my wife and me haha! We didn't get married by Elvis in a drive thru chapel in Vegas like the couple in the song, but we DID get pregnant while we were dating... which gives you about the same chance of making it right?? Well... I'm typing this on August 10th, 2026, which is our 36th wedding anniversary :-) Crazy's only crazy til works right?? It's funny - when I started telling the whole story at shows, we were the only couple either of us had even heard of starting that way and still being together 20+ years later. I think now we're up to 21 couple I've talked to that started the same way and are still together anywhere from 20 years all the way up to 61 years! Wild!
