The Story
This song is a true story about a plane that made an emergency landing on a crowed street I Gainesville, Georgia in February of 2026. My brother was sitting at a stop light snd heard a noise and then his vehicle began spinning around and the next thing he knew he was staring at guys in a plane cockpit. Fortunately no one was fatally hurt although he sustained injuries. As he told me the story my writers mind began putting this song together as a comical way to make him laugh and the forepeople heard the more they convinced me to record it. I traveled to Nashville, assemble a group of studio musicians and recorded I lIke Attention. is currently being played on European Academy of country Music at #28 throughout the UK, charting at #31 Nashville Radio Promotions and just debuted at #99 Cashbox Top 100 Independent Country charts. I made a video that is currently on my Youtube channel, garymathenymusic1473 and beginning to get reviews from fans globally.
