The Story
This song was begun on a Chalk’s flight from Bimini to Ft. Lauderdale after a weekend dive trip. during our oft discussed “break up” I was missing Kristie and hoped things would work out. (I’m SO glad they did!!!) it paints images I can still imagine to this day. Bimini was my favourite escape and I spent a lot of time there diving, playing music and decompressing. I had and still have dear friends there. Mr Buffett would visit every so often and I would catch him having lunch with Ozzie Brown at the Complete Angler. such great times. my friend Hyram Rolle is even running for office in the Bahamas. this song was used by Eric Stone on one of his "Songs for Sailors” compilations making it my first solo write used in the Trop Rock world. this video of flying to Bimini in a Chalk’s seaplane is still a favourite of mine https://www.facebook.com/share/v/18pKZW1XP4/
