Dan DeMay is a country songwriter from Fayetteville, North Carolina, who moved to Nashville in 1988 and signed his first publishing deal with EMI in 2001. His songs have been recorded by artists including Tracy Byrd ("Crazy Everytime"), Martina McBride ("Everybody Does"), Tracy Lawrence ("You Can't Hide Redneck"), Daryl Worley ("If Something Should Happen"), John Michael Montgomery, and Joey & Rory. He runs his own publishing company, Atlantic Bridge Music.
