Kate Mills is a singer-songwriter who draws on 1970s Laurel Canyon influences alongside modern pop, pairing orchestral arrangements with contemporary production. With a background in social work, she writes emotionally resonant, storytelling-driven songs influenced by artists like Dan Fogelberg, Karen Carpenter, Grace Potter and Brandi Carlile. She has been a semi-finalist in both the UK and International Songwriting Competitions and has performed at venues including the Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles and the Cutting Room in New York City.
