Les Kerr is a Nashville-based songwriter and recording artist who grew up in Mississippi and fronts Les Kerr and the Bayou Band. He blends blues, New Orleans music, Zydeco, rock and bluegrass into a sound he calls 'Hillbilly Blues Caribbean Rock & Roll,' has released a dozen albums including Child of Highway Ninety, and has headlined Mardi Gras celebrations at Nashville's Bluebird Café since 1992. Goldmine magazine called him 'the heir apparent to the late Jimmy Buffett.'
