Mark Northey was a singer-songwriter and comedic entertainer based in Matlacha, Southwest Florida, known for Jimmy Buffett covers and original beach/boat music. Billed as the first traveling Buffett "Apostle," he performed for some 30 years, shared a stage with Jimmy Buffett in 1983, and played Margaritaville venues in Key West and New Orleans. His discography includes Son of the Beach, Phlocking Live, Wine and Women in Thongs, Dog and Pony Show, and Over the Edge. He passed away in December 2013.
