Mike Miller is a trop-rock and island-music singer-songwriter who co-founded The Boat Drunks in Champaign, Illinois, in 2001. The band, which has won the Trop Rock Music Association's Band of the Year award nine times, performs his originals such as "Beer, Buffett and Baseball," "Together We Fly," and "A Pirate on the Caribbean." Miller spent five years (2008–2013) living aboard a sailboat, an experience that shaped much of his songwriting.
