About
They say true artists can't be put in a box, and Bald Twitchy is living proof. A self-described sonic chameleon, the songwriter trades in raw, human authenticity rather than perfection. His unique moniker is born from his personal journey with Tourette syndrome, handled with the same self-deprecating humor and grit that defines his creative outlook.Bald Twitchy's path has been anything but linear. After stepping away from music for 30 years, he made his comeback by founding a music and sound production company and partnering with Craig Blackwell. However, realizing his heart belonged strictly to the pen and paper rather than the corporate grind, he sold the company to Blackwell to focus solely on his lifelong passion: songwriting. His catalog is an unpredictable journey, shifting effortlessly from aggressive metal to deeply intimate love songs. Florida sunsets that inspired his sun-drenched, upbeat Trop Rock single, "Square Grouper." Stripped of pretense and full of soul, Bald Twitchy is back to making music entirely on his own terms like Tequila Goggles, a inside joke between him and friend Peter Billingsley. Bald Twitchy's greatest muse is his high school sweetheart and wife of 37 years, who serves as the ultimate inspiration behind everything he creates. He says we just live life and the songs write themselves. His songwriting approach is anchored by advice he once received from Jimmy Buffett, who told him simply: "Write what you feel and what you see." Living by the motto "Life writes the songs, I just add the music," his eclectic catalog shifts seamlessly from heavy metal to deep love songs, alongside sun-drenched Trop Rock tracks like "Square Grouper"—inspired by his days diving, fishing, and chasing Florida sunsets. I don' need approval from anyone, I write because I love it. I have been around music all my life and have friends who are in the industry. I' not looking for that or I would of stayed in the business over 30 years ago. I do it now for the joy.
