John McDonald is a Florida singer-songwriter based in Melbourne on the Space Coast, whose "Floribbean" sound blends reggae, rock, calypso, and Afro-Cuban rhythms, often performing with his band the Mango Men. He won the 2022 Trop Rock Music Association Single of the Year award for "Islandology" and has earned multiple TRMA nominations. His albums include Islandology (2021), Beach More, Worry Less (2023), Everything's Jake: A Jake Sullivan Album (2024), and I Find Hope (2025); he has shared stages with The Beach Boys, America, and Hall & Oates.
