About
Ramajay Intercoastal was a trop-rock collaboration between Trinidad-and-Tobago-born steel pannist Quincy Yeates and Nashville guitarist/singer songwriter 'Tall' Paul Bobal, with percussionist Michael Robertson, bassist Klee Liles and drummer Alonzo Lewis rounding out the sound. Formed in 2009, the longtime friends blend Caribbean steel-pan, rock, and island styles. Their album 'Jamboulé' (2016), featuring renowned steel pannist Andy Narrell and Coral Reefer Nadirah Shakoor, drew Grammy recognition.
