Singer/songwriter Donnie Howard’s passion for all things coastal began early, growing up outside of Savannah in the small town of Tybee Island, GA. The beach, swimming, fishing, crabbing, shrimping, and boating were all part of his childhood. Being from Georgia, he was heavily influenced by Southern Rock icons like The Allman Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd, and also by the coastal sounds of Jimmy Buffett. Eventually, Donnie began writing and performing his own songs, blending his influences to create his own “Coastal Country” sound and releasing his first original EP in 2021
